Autumn Newsletter
The Border Rivers-Gwydir CMA's Autumn Newsletter has just been released.  See it in the news where you can also subscribe to receive our quarterly newsletters via email. If you'd prefer to receive an old fashioned print version, phone the Inverell office on 6728 8020 and we can post a copy out in the mail.

"Our Farmers, Our Future" Enviro-Stories Education Program
The Border Rivers-Gwydir CMA, along with the Cotton Catchment Communities CRC and Central West CMA are supporting the "Our Farmers, Our Future" Enviro-Stories Education Program. We are looking for students to use their imagination and write and illustrate stories about 'Life on the Farm'. Stories can be from a human, plant or animal perspective or about events that occur on farms. Students have a chance to go in the running to get their book published. Click on the "button" to find out how you or your students can be involved. Entries close 29 June 2012.

Priority areas for work in the catchment

Environmental Water in the Gwydir

The Environmental Allowance Committee combines locals, scientists and regional departmental representatives who work together to undertake both flow delivery and water planning for environmental outcomes. For more information CLICK HERE.
